QCC Troubleshooting Guide

Below is a link to our Troubleshooting Guide. Going through the outlined steps should result in determination of which specific component is the culprit.

If you're able to determine the troublesome component, here's what you can expect:

• ...if the problem is the QCC Wiring Harness - purchase a replacement.  UNLESS you have a hardwired QCC Brain (and  you cannot unplug the QCC Wiring Harness)...then you'll need to send the unit in for repair [see Support page]
• ...if the problem is the QCC Remote Hand Switch - purchase a replacement.
• ...if the problem is the QCC Power Supply - purchase a replacement.
• ...if the problem is the O-Rings on your QCC Optical Encoder/s (if you have never changed the o-rings, we recommend that you do so regardless of your other findings...they do not last forever and if they are dry/cracked/missing altogether, it will cause troubles) - purchase a replacement set.
• ...if the problem is the QCC Optical Encoder (you would need to determine which one; it is highly unlikely that both are problematic) - purchase a replacement.
• ...if the problem is the QCC Brain - you can send it in for diagnosis/service/repair

Sending your QCC Brain into the Factory for Service

Regardless of your Quilter's Cruise Control® brain model...if you're having a problem, we can fix it! The engineer who invented it, designed it, and fabricated it is still working in our Service Dept. As a matter of fact, he owns the company!! He wears many hats, but loves the opportunity to help folks get back up and quilting with their Quilter's Cruise Control! He can fix anything associated with the products we manufacture.

Please download/print/complete the 2-page Service Ticket and send it along with the QCC Brain to be serviced/repaired. Typical turnaround time (standard processing once received in the factory) is 7-12 business days.
